On April 17, Professor Yau Yung, Associate Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, and Dr. Mohid, Associate Programme Director of the Master of Social Sciences in Comparative Public Administration Programme, visited the Faculty of Business at the City University of Macau. The delegation focused on introducing postgraduate programs and Hong Kong employment prospects to business school students. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, academic exchanges, and career development in the Greater Bay Area, aiming to build a quality development platform for students that combines "a foundation in Macau with advanced studies in Hong Kong."

During the meeting, Professor Yau Yung provided a detailed analysis of employment prospects and policy benefits in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. As an international financial hub, Hong Kong has strong demand for talent in finance, commerce, and professional services. Non-local graduates may apply for the IANG visa upon graduation, allowing them to stay in Hong Kong unconditionally for 24 months, providing significant advantages for their future career choices.

Lingnan University also houses Hong Kong’s first postgraduate mentorship program, connecting students with distinguished alumni and industry leaders, and offering exclusive internship and job opportunities. The university provides full-process career development services, including tailored career planning, mock interviews, CV guidance, and exclusive recruitment events co-organized with leading enterprises in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

The Faculty of Business at City University of Macau noted that students of the International Business Leadership Lab possess a solid foundation in international business theory and cross-cultural communication skills, which closely align with the training objectives of Lingnan University’s Business School. This exchange opens up a clear academic pathway: after completing their studies at CityU Macau, students may apply for relevant master's programs at Lingnan University. Upon graduation, they can leverage their Hong Kong qualifications and IANG visa advantages to gain a competitive edge in the Greater Bay Area and international job markets.

Both sides expressed their intention to further explore collaboration models such as curriculum alignment, credit transfer, and short-term exchange programs, jointly advancing the cultivation of international business talent in the Greater Bay Area to a new level.
