To nurture business talents with a global vision and cross-cultural leadership skills, the City University of Macau Faculty of Business collaborated with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School to successfully organize the "Leadership and Communication" international exchange program from July 14 to 25, 2025. Led by Associate Professor Tiffany Cheng Han Leung from the Faculty of Business, the program combined academic seminars, corporate visits, and cultural immersion, offering students a high-standard international educational experience.

The first week of the program focused on "Building a Global Business Mindset." They also visited renowned local enterprises in Sydney to gain an in-depth understanding of Australia's business environment. Dr. Simon Ali’s workshop on "Analysis of Australian culture " and Dr. Srisankriti Sharma’s session on "Multicultural Exploration and Sydney City Tour" further equipped students with essential skills for international business scenarios.

The second week centered on "Entrepreneurship and Innovation." Dr. Nabin Sharma from Faculty of Engineering and Innovation Technology to deliver Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Sojen Pradhan from the UTS Business School guided students in analyzing market opportunities from a global perspective through a series of courses on "Design Thinking and Business Model Innovation." Students also visited Taronga Zoo’s sustainability projects, gaining hands-on learning about ESG and green business practices. Additionally, interactions with peers from the UTS Business School helped broaden their international business horizons.

Participating students reported that the program not only enhanced their leadership and strategic thinking skills but also provided them with firsthand experience of cutting-edge international business trends through case studies and on-site visits. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the two universities’ efforts to promote "international business talent development." Moving forward, the "4+1 Accelerated Master Program " will further optimize curriculum alignment, providing more overseas study opportunities for Faculty of Business students.
