Recently, Mr. Honghai Zhang, Chairman of Zhuhai Honghai Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. and Managing Director of Guizhou Renhuai Libaizui Liquor Co., Ltd., delivered an inspiring speech titled "Cultivating Entrepreneurial Thinking in University Students to Unlock Brand Potential" at the City University of Macau. The event provided students with profound insights into the core elements of business success, illuminating a guiding light for their future entrepreneurial endeavors. 

In his address, Mr. Zhang drew on his extensive practical experience across multiple fields, including the "Libaizui" liquor brand, commerce, and investment, to elaborate on entrepreneurial thinking in an accessible manner. He emphasized that curiosity is an indispensable trait for entrepreneurs, urging students to cultivate a problem-solving mindset, seek innovative inspiration from daily life, and transform common consumer pain points into business opportunities. Regarding team management, he highlighted that shared values form the cornerstone of team cohesion, asserting that only with aligned beliefs can members collaborate effectively in overcoming challenges. 

When discussing brand building, Mr. Zhang proposed the novel concept of "Brand as Medium." He argued that future brands should integrate products, content, transactions, and experiences, advising students to leverage emerging platforms such as short videos and the metaverse to reinvent brand narratives. By showcasing cultural uniqueness, he noted, brands can amplify their influence and forge emotional connections with audiences. 

Mr. Zhang also shared his perspective on entrepreneurial risks, stating that entrepreneurship is not merely about risk management but a journey of self-discovery and growth. True business acumen, he explained, lies in transforming market uncertainties into drivers of innovation. He concluded by saying, "Build strengths, follow trends, and align with the times," encouraging students to leverage their expertise, seize opportunities, and ride the waves of change. 

The speech blended theoretical depth with actionable guidance, equipping City University of Macau students with fresh perspectives on harnessing business thinking to reshape the world. Notably, Mr. Zhang is set to return to the university to pursue a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree. His commitment to academic advancement while at the pinnacle of his career serves as a powerful inspiration for young scholars to strive for excellence and realize their full potential.
