On July 8, the final and award ceremony of the “2023 Cross-Strait, Hong Kong, and Macao College Student Accounting and Business Management Case Competition”, sponsored by CCPIT and CCOIC, co-organized by (Hong Kong, China) Science and Technology Education and (Hong Kong, China) International Simulation Business Management, and supported by Hong Kong Metropolitan University, Australian Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) and the Australian Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), was successfully held at Hong Kong Metropolitan University, with total 14 teams competing for the competition. The team “STILL THIS TEAM”, composed of five students from Faculty of Business, including Yueshi Yang, Leer Li, Yina Song, Dongqi Yao and Haoxian Cai has won the Certificate of Achievement Sliver Award under the leadership and guidance of Assistant Professor Tiffany Cheng Han Leung and Senior Lecturer Cathy Hang I Cheong of Faculty of Business.
This competition aims to improve students' practical application ability of accounting professional knowledge, quantitative and qualitative analysis, decision making, application, time management, critical thinking, creativity and creation, oral and written expression and other comprehensive abilities; provide opportunities for students to contact with fresh cases of enterprises, experience the practice of enterprises, simulation management and management accounting decisions, and enhance employment competitiveness.
