FOB faculty and students participated in the 8th World Business Ethics Forum

The 8th World Business Ethics Forum, organized by the School of Business, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and University of Macau, was successfully held at the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong on 14-15 June, bringing together nearly 100 experts, scholars and doctoral students from around the world to discuss on business ethics issues. The forum featured two days of paper presentations and panel discussions on the theme "Emerging from Crisis through Socially Responsible and Ethical Business", covering a total of 30 presentations.

 

FOB Assistant Prof. Tiffany C. H. Leung, as one of the organizing committee members, led two DBA students to attend the forum. The two students Cindy Shi-Xiang YOU and Ying GUO gave the presentation on the topic “Exploring the Extent of Materiality Assessment in Sustainability Reporting” and “The Relationship between Corporate Climate-related Disclosure and Financial Impacts: An Exploration of the Emerging Chinese Companies in a Global Financial Centre”, respectively and benefited a great more from communication with other participants on relevant issues.

 

The World Forum on Business Ethics (WBEF) has been held every two years since 2006, providing an open platform for scholars and experts worldwide to share and discuss new ideas and research findings in the field of business ethics.
