On March 27, 2023, Dean of City University of Macau - Faculty of Business, Professor José C. Alves, Assistant Professor Yu Kaidong, Assistant Professor Huang Yicong, Assistant Professor Zhao Jing, and doctoral student Zhao Ruojun were invited to visit Guangdong University of Science and Technology – Faculty of Management. Dean Tan Xiao, Vice Dean Wang Jinliang, Vice Dean Leng Min, Dr. Zhang Wei, Dr. Liu Qian and other teachers from the Faculty of Management attended the discussion and accompanied them to visit the laboratory facilities of Guangdong University of Science and Technology.

During the visit to the laboratory, Professor José C. Alves spoke highly of the e-commerce live broadcast laboratory, marketing comprehensive simulation laboratory and human resource quality evaluation laboratory facilities of GDUST, and at the same time agreed with the talent training mode of GDUST, Through laboratory simulation learning and school-enterprise cooperation joint training, students can better master practical skills and accumulate work experience, so as to be more competitive in the future job market.

The purpose of this exchange is to deepen the cooperative relationship between the GDUST – Faculty of Management and CityU Macau – Faculty of Business. The two sides first introduced the basic situation of the school and the college, and then discussed possible cooperation matters, including scientific research cooperation, discipline construction, data sharing, further education, student and teacher visits, etc. At the same time, the two parties expect to plan and implement more and more specific cooperation projects, so as to form a long-term and stable cooperative partnership.

This visit is an important exchange and it is also a new starting point for cooperation between the two parties. In the future, the two parties will cooperate in more fields, strengthen exchanges, and promote the development of academic research and discipline construction. This exchange has laid a solid foundation for deepening cooperation between the two parties.
