City University of Macau - Faculty of Business has conducted a school-enterprise cooperation and internship base signing ceremony with various companies in Cuiheng New Area

On the morning of March 18th, 102 master and doctoral talents from 27 well-known universities such as City University of Macau, Sydney University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology gathered in Zhongshan.

 

A multi party signing ceremony was held at the opening ceremony. City University of Macau - Faculty of Business conducted a school enterprise cooperation and internship base signing ceremony with Zhongshan Cuiheng Group Co., Ltd., CNOOC Power Investment Co., Ltd., China Hengtian Lixin International Co., Ltd., and Zhongshan ABB Transformer Co., Ltd.

 

"Cuiheng New Area has a brand new infrastructure and advantageous industries, which I believe will form a great attraction for young people." Professor Jose Alves, Dean of FOB, introduced that at present, there are more than 2000 students at FOB. After signing the school-enterprise cooperation agreement, it is hoped that 10% of students will come to Cuiheng New Area for on-site visits and internships every semester, and it is also hoped that students will have the opportunity to work in Cuiheng New Area after graduation.

 

In addition, Professor Jose Alves mentioned that Macau is an international and diversified city with deep ties to Portuguese speaking countries. "Macau has brought together many entrepreneurs from all over the world, especially from Portuguese speaking countries, who are very eager to invest in China." Professor Jose Alves said that the next step will be to introduce these enterprises and entrepreneurs to the Cuiheng New Area.

 

Xie Jingjing, a doctoral student from FOB, is visiting Zhongshan for the first time. "I have a preliminary understanding of Zhongshan's plan for the introduction of master and doctoral talents, and now the development opportunities in Dawan District are very good. I also want to have more opportunities to contact the cities in Dawan District." Xie Jingjing said that she pays more attention to understanding Zhongshan's residential and business environment, and hopes to have the opportunity to work in Cuiheng New Area in the future.
