The 2021 academic year Faculty of Business Students' Self-Visit Enterprises plan has been successfully completed. Below is the group that won the Merit Award group:

TAT ON Chinese Medicine Clinic (Wang Si Qi, Li Xiao Hui, Deng Chen Lu)

TAT ON Chinese Medicine Clinic has been in operation since 1988, with a history of more than 30 years. It mainly sells all kinds of spices and Chinese medicine grinding, and operates as a family business, mainly targeting the local people in Macau. There are acupuncture, bruises and bone injuries, traditional Chinese medicine soup bags, valet decoction, cupping and other services. Currently registered TCM practitioners are Mr. Gong Pei Ming and Mrs. Liao Shao Feng. The students visited Mrs. Liao, who has been working in TAT ON since 2012.

TAT ON's procurement of medicinal materials and proprietary Chinese medicines is mainly carried out by local medicinal materials companies in Macau. Even though some raw materials have been restricted by the epidemic control in the past two years, for large medicinal materials purchasing companies, their procurement channel resources are relatively large, and the company's inventory space is also large, which can also provide stable raw materials for TAT ON, the only thing affected is the doubling of shipping costs.

However, due to shipping costs, the price of some medicinal materials may be too high or unstable, so the purchaser needs to communicate with the pharmacy manager to make adjustments in time, and compare the prices of medicinal materials with the same function.

In the context of the epidemic, all walks of life are facing difficulties in development. Although the Macau government strongly supports the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Macau, it will inevitably be affected. The cost of the Chinese medicine supply chain in Macao has increased and sales have decreased. In addition, the government has strictly restricted seafood and medicines at customs, which has greatly reduced the transportation volume and greatly reduced the purchasing power of tourists. Now the Chinese medicine industry in Macao is also affected. It has a certain impact, but fortunately, TAT ON has its own doctors who can conduct consultations. Traditional Chinese medicine conditioning is a basic livelihood issue, and local residents in Macau have not changed much in their needs. It is hoped that the epidemic will end soon, the development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Macau can reach a new level, and the development of Daan Pharmacy can also flourish!
