FOB Holds a Briefing Session on the Bachelor of Applied Economic Degree Programme Specializations

The Faculty of Business held a briefing and orientation session on the Bachelor of Applied Economics Degree Programme in Room T408 on 5th April. Dr. Eva Khong, Executive Associate Dean, attended the briefing session and delivered a welcoming speech to encourage students to study hard and take an join FOB seminars and activities actively. Dr. Lou Shiyan, Programme Coordinator of the Bachelor of Applied Economics Degree Programme, Senior Lecturer Lin Deqin and Senior Lecturer Li Chun Lok introduced the various specializations to students and provided guidance on their emphases and different strengths.

The specializations of the Bachelor of Applied Economics Degree Programme include: Urban Economics, Cultural Economics and Creative Economics. The teachers explained the advantages of each of the three specializations, in terms of equipping students for different professions and career paths.  The orientation helped students as they began to prepare to make important decisions during the approaching selection exercise.
