FOB students were invited to participate in “Global Money Week – Job Shadow”

From 28th to 30th of March, 2017, the Macau Institute of Financial Services invited Faculty of Business students to participate in “Global Money Week – Job Shadow,” a one-day-internship programme where students could learn from practices in seven different local banks.

During this time, 12 individual FOB students joined the one-day Job Shadow in Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Banco Delta Ásia, the Bank of Communications, Wing Lung Bank, OCBC Wing Hang Bank, Banco Comercial de Macau and Tai Fung Bank. In a day resembling a rehearsal for their future career, the students visited offices in the banks to gain firsthand experience of their actual operational work and enterprise culture. FOB students taking part in the Job Shadow did so with students from other local higher educational institutions, providing all with good opportunities for exchanges with each other.

Students were enthusiastic in registering for this activity. Those students who took part found it a valuable experience and looked forward to many similar internship programmes in the future.
