On 30th July, a Briefing Session of International Business Cohort of FOB of City University of Macau was successfully held in the FOB Experiential Learning and Entrepreneurship Research Base in Guangzhou Circle Building. Vice Rector Kong Fanqing, Executive Associate Dean of FOB Eva Khong and Mr. Zhou Chun from Admission Office were accompanied by some renowned alumni to meet with candidates and parents coming from Sichuan, Hubei, Guangdong, Yunnan and other provinces. Vice Rector Kong Fanqing and Executive Associate Dean of FOB Eva Khong introduced the unique features of the International Business Cohort to be launched in 2016/2017 academic year.  Enquires raised by candidates and parents were well responded. It was remarked that renowed professors were invited to conduct lectures and in addition, students would be arranged to visit enterprises owned by alumni in the Guangdong region to obtain real life business exposure. Students would be able to improve their professional as well as leadership ability. It was stated that the first year tuition fees would be waived if students were successfully admitted to the said program. Moreover, students who obtained excellent results would be awarded MOP 30,000 subsidies granted by Macau Foundation through out years of study in City University.  The briefing session served to further understand the candidates’ various concern as well as to elucidate the uniqueness of Teaching, Research through Practice in Action of the International Business Cohort program.
