Seminar on “UK Exiting the European Union and Financial Planning: Relationship and Influence”

On 30th July 2016, the Faculty of Business of the City University of Macau , the Macau Institute of Financial Services and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants Hong Kong and Macau Centre jointly organized a seminar on “The UK Exiting the European Union and Financial Planning: Relationship and Influence” on the third floor, at Auditorio, Monetary Authority of Macau. Mr. Matthew Kwok, Chartered Financial Analyst and the Chief Strategist at Wealth Management Company, was invited to conduct the said seminar. The seminar focused on the issues of causes and effects of UK exiting the European Union, the profound relationship of “Brexit” and financial planning, the opportunities and challenges of financial planning of “Brexit” in the light of future financial planning perspectives.

 

Professor Sean Li, Academic Registrar, City University of Macau, Mr. He Yong Zhong, President, Federation of Macau Professional Insurance Intermediaries, Ms. Avril Lee, General Manager and Head of Retail Banking Division, Dr. Raymond Lee, Executive President, Hong Kong Financial Services Professionals Association, and Dr. Raymond Lee, Executive President, Hong Kong Financial Services Professionals Association attended the seminar.  Participants include academic staff members and students from City University of Macau, members and non-members of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. 

 

Moreover, members of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants who attended the seminar were granted 2 credits from Registered Financial Consultant Continuing Education.
