On 22th August, the Faculty of Business (FOB) of City University of Macau (CityU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). The MOU was signed by Dr. Eva Khong, Executive Associate Dean of FOB; and Ms. Erica Chen, Marketing Director of CIMA Hong Kong. The signing of the MOU were witnessed by Prof. Shu Guang Zhang, Rector of CityU; Mr. Chan Chon Pat, Secretary General of the Preparatory Committee of the Council of CityU; Mr. Fong Kwong Yee, Associate Professor of FOB, and Ms. Yeman Tsang, Business Development and Marketing Manager of CIMA Hong Kong.
Rector Zhang remarked that CityU was one of the distinctive tertiary institutions in Macau. He was very pleased to witness CityU and CIMA extending the said cooperation to undergraduate programs and expected CityU to have further collaboration with CIMA in the near future to enhance auxiliary development.
The MOU indicated that students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program of FOB will be eligible to the CIMA Bachelor Gateway fast track route and are exempted from 6 CIMA exams.
