Recently, the final round of the Second “Children’s Cup” Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Children’s Dream Alliance, was successfully held. Focusing on youth entrepreneurship, the competition was open to secondary school students in Macao and encouraged participants to develop business plans, conduct market research, and prepare financial budgets. Through these practical activities, students were able to strengthen their innovative thinking, business analysis, and entrepreneurial capabilities.
Dr. Limeng Yu, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Business (FOB), was invited to serve as one of the judges for the competition. Together with industry experts, she participated in the evaluation process from the preliminary review through to the final round, providing professional comments and guidance on the participating projects in areas including business models, market potential, project feasibility, and value creation.
FOB actively supports faculty engagement in community-based innovation, entrepreneurship, and youth development initiatives. Adolescence is an important stage for cultivating innovative awareness and entrepreneurial capabilities. The participation of University staffs in such activities helps strengthen interaction and collaboration between higher education institutions and the community, while encouraging young people in Macao to explore new ideas, take initiative, and contribute innovative energy to the future development of society.
