On 13 April, the Faculty of Business invited Mr. Kuok Kai Ian (Kevin), Founder of Region Computer, to share his insights with undergraduate students. The session focused on the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on business management.
Using real business cases, Mr. Kuok explained how AI is changing business operations, management models, organizational structures, and human resource practices. He also discussed how companies can respond actively to these AI challenges.
During the session, Mr. Kuok encouraged students to see AI as a useful tool for improving decision-making and operational efficiency, rather than something to fear. He also reminded students of the importance of safety, ethics, and social responsibility in the use of AI. The session deepened students’ understanding of the relationship between AI and business management and inspired them to reimagine the future of business management.
