To help students create competitive and professional resumes, the Faculty of Business held the “Resume Improvement Workshop” on April 1 at the Golden Dragon Campus. The workshop began with an interactive analysis, addressing common resume issues—such as unclear formatting, weak objective statements, and unquantified achievements—while providing practical strategies to transform ordinary resumes into compelling and professional documents.

It emphasized the critical role of resumes in both further studies and job applications, summarizing key principles of resume writing, including length, tone, and the effective presentation of skills. The content covered essential topics such as resume structure and core components, the STAR method for writing, the use of powerful action verbs, techniques for quantifying achievements, and ATS optimization strategies.

At the end of the session, students submitted their own resumes, allowing the instructor to offer personalized feedback and suggestions. This hands-on approach effectively enhanced the persuasiveness and professionalism of their resumes.
