On 16th January, 2016, the Registered Financial Consultant Graduation and Conferment Ceremony was held at the City University of Macau (City U). In the ceremony, the graduates were conferred certificates of the programs co-organized by the Faculty of Business (FOB), City U, Macau Institute of Financial Services (MIFS) and International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, Hong Kong and Macau (IARFC).

Professor Shu Guang Zhang, Rector of City U, gave an opening speech in the ceremony. He looked forward to further cooperation between FOB, MIFS and IARFC. Rector Zhang expected the graduates would become even more professional after the graduation and conferment ceremony. He wished all the graduates a brighter future ahead. Dr. António Félix Pontes, Chairman of MIFS, and Dr. Teresa So, Adviser for Hong Kong and Macau, IARFC, also expressed their congratulations to the graduates. Dr. Eva Khong, Executive Associate Dean of FOB, City U, gave a keynote speech on the topic of Global Financial Services Transformation.  

The Faculty prepared a tea reception after the ceremony. All the leaders, graduates and guests gathered in a delighted atmosphere. The graduates took photos with their family and friends to mark this special moment.

The university leaders who attended the ceremony were Professor FanQing Kong, Vice Rector; Professor ZhiMing Cai, Head of the Academic Affairs Office; Dr. Rui Rocha, Director of Department of Portuguese Language and Culture of Portuguese-Speaking Countries; and Dr. Sungyi Lee, Associate Dean of Faculty of Education. Ms. Evelyn Kun, representative of MIFS, and Mr. Allan Wan, representative of IARFC, also attended the ceremony as the cooperative partners of FOB. Meanwhile, it was our pleasure to have Mr. Chris Ma, CEO of AIA Macao, and Mr. Ivan Cheung, Executive Director of Fidelidade, participated in the event.
