Students from the Faculty of Business Win Gold Award in the "2025 Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau Enterprise Business Case Analysis Competition"

On December 20, 2025, the "2025 Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau Enterprise Business Case Analysis Competition," hosted by Hong Kong Baptist University, successfully concluded. The team representing the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Finance at City University of Macau delivered an outstanding performance in the competition. With exceptional case analysis skills and innovative business solutions, they stood out among numerous participating teams and won the Gold Award, demonstrating the solid professional competence and excellent teamwork of City University's students.

 

This competition brought together approximately 110 outstanding students from multiple universities across the Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macau for a fiercely contested event. The team from the Faculty of Business and Faculty of Finance at City University of Macau was composed of five students: Liu Jiaqi, Sun Yaxin, Wang Xiangjun, Lin Xinyao, and Yang Chenshen. Under the careful guidance of Professor Li Qiang and Assistant Professor Yu Bangxing, they underwent months of meticulous preparation and in-depth discussions. Throughout the competition, the team worked closely together, flexibly applying the business theories and analytical tools they had learned. With clear logic, solid arguments, and forward-thinking vision, they earned high recognition from the judging committee and successfully secured the Gold Award.

 

The five students expressed, "We are deeply honored to represent City University of Macau in this competition. This honor belongs not only to our team but also to everyone who supported us. We sincerely thank City University of Macau for providing a first-class academic platform and resource support. This Gold Award is not only recognition of our research efforts but also a significant encouragement for our commitment to integrating theory with practice and exploring the business world through innovation."

 

The Faculty will continue to advance innovation and entrepreneurship education, striving to cultivate more outstanding business talents with an international perspective and a sense of social responsibility, thereby promoting the appropriate economic diversification and development of Macau.
