On September 30, students from the Chinese and English MBA programmes organized by the Faculty of Business (FOB) visited 369 CooPTown, an innovative incubation hub in Macau. This visit focused on regional innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as cross-border trade, aiming to help young scholars gain a deeper understanding of the Greater Bay Area’s innovation and entrepreneurship system, the impact of the international environment on cross-border trade, and the development opportunities for young talent in entrepreneurship and employment.

Established in 2021, 369 CoopTown serves as a comprehensive incubation base for entrepreneurs, providing personalized infrastructure and a range of integrated support services for individuals and small to medium-sized enterprises. As the largest private entrepreneurial collaboration space in Macau, 369 CoopTown boasts extensive connections with government, industry, and academia, offering a robust support environment for entrepreneurs.

The event was hosted by Mr. Otto Ieong, co-founder and CEO of 369 CoopTown, who enthusiastically explained the town's social connections, rich entrepreneurial resources, and the support available for startups. During the visit, students had the opportunity to tour the entrepreneurial space and actively interact with entrepreneurs, posing many insightful questions.

The visit was led by Assistant Professor Limeng Yu and Assistant Professor Danni Ma from FOB, with participation and support from Isaac Tong, Supervisor of the Ung Choi Kun Entrepreneurship and Career Centre (ECC), who warmly shared the resource support from ECC and the information about recent entrepreneurial recruitment activities.

This event not only strengthened the connection between our faculty and local entrepreneurial innovation spaces in Macau but also allowed graduating MBA students to gain practical insights into the entrepreneurial opportunities and resources available in the Greater Bay Area.

The MBA programme of FOB is dedicated to inspiring and training students to integrate theory with practice, fostering entrepreneurial thinking and professional managerial skills. Through extensive connections and exchanges with the industry, the Faculty of Business aims to broaden students' horizons, continuously ignite their passion for learning, and support their future professional development.
