On September 18 and 25, the Faculty of Business (FOB) invited Mr. Isaac Tong, Supervisor of the Ung Choi Kun Entrepreneurship and Career Centre (ECC), to conduct two engaging sharing sessions for MBA students in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management courses, which included both Chinese and English classes. The sessions were hosted by Assistant Professor Yu Limeng of FOB.
Mr. Tong provided an in-depth introduction to the various resources and support offered by the ECC of our university, covering aspects such as entrepreneurial thinking, concepts, mentoring mechanisms, and successful entrepreneurial incubation cases. He also detailed the business environment in Macau and the support available for youth entrepreneurship across the Greater Bay Area. Mr. Tong particularly emphasized the opportunities and resources available this year for students and alumni to apply for residency at the ECC, encouraging students to actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
The atmosphere of both events was lively and inspiring, with students actively engaging in discussions with Mr. Tong and posing questions related to entrepreneurial and employment opportunities, specifically in Macau and the entire Greater Bay Area. These events not only strengthened the close ties between the FOB and the ECC but also helped students gain a clearer understanding of the innovation and entrepreneurship competitions they could participate in, as well as the mentorship opportunities and resources available to them.
FOB is committed to continuously encouraging, inspiring, and training students in innovative and entrepreneurial thinking while broadening their awareness of the resources and opportunities for innovation and entrepreneurship within our university and the Greater Bay Area. We hope that through such a series of events, we can continually contribute to students’ entrepreneurial passion and support their future career development.
