On 24 March 2025, the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau and Oceanpayment Co. Limited signed an agreement at Oceanpayment’s headquarters, establishing a university-enterprise cooperation internship base. Prof José Alves, Dean of the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau, and Mr James Liu, Chairman of Oceanpayment, signed the agreement, marking a commitment to this innovative partnership. Also attending were Ms Joyce Li and Mr Jacky Liang, Vice-Presidents of Oceanpayment.

The collaboration aims to enhance students’ practical skills and cultivate high-quality talent while supporting Oceanpayment’s innovation capabilities. It includes an internship base, joint MBA curriculum design, and learning arrangements in Macau and Shenzhen. Oceanpayment will provide internship opportunities, training venues, and equipment, offering employment priority to qualified graduates.

The Faculty of Business anticipates this collaboration will enrich students’ education and develop industry-ready professionals in business and technology.
