On March 21, the FOB successfully held an important DBA Sustainability Research Forum. The forum aimed to provide a platform for DBA to exchange ideas and allow professors to share their research methods, findings, concepts, and experiences in sustainability management and practices. The forum not only facilitated academic exchange and learning opportunities among students but also expanded their knowledge and academic perspectives.
Associate Dean FOB, Associate Professor Tian Yihui, Professor Gavin Chau, and Assistant Professor Tiffany Cheng served as speakers for the forum.
Associate Professor Tian Yihui first presented a detailed interpretation of the research on "Multi-motivation for Green Supply Chain Management Implement:
A fuzzy-set Qualitative comparative analysis" He analyzed the overview, theoretical foundation, research significance, research content, and expected innovation points, providing students with a clear research direction.
Professor Gavin Chau then discussed his research on “Exploring the Impact of Green Energy and Consumption on the Sustainability of Natural Resources: Empirical Evidence from G7 Countries." He reviewed and analyzed previous research reports, explained the methods used for data collection, compared the results of this study with previous research, and concluded the significance, findings, and future recommendations of this research to the students.
Assistant Professor Tiffany Cheng introduced her research on "Transitioning from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG): Qualitative Research Approaches." She then conducted an in-depth analysis of the study titled "Exploring Environmental Sustainability and Green Management Practices: Evidence from Logistics Service Providers (LSPs)." This research not only holds important practical significance but also has a positive impact on society.
The forum provided a valuable platform for communication among faculty members and students in the FOB, promoting knowledge sharing and research collaboration in the field of sustainability. It also sparked attention and enthusiasm for sustainability issues and research. The FOB will continue its commitment to promoting the development of sustainability research and practices and contribute to addressing global sustainability challenges.
