1、 Visiting the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform

Firstly, we arrived at the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform. Here, professional instructors provide us with a detailed introduction to the goods and commodities imported and exported from Portuguese speaking countries. From wine, olive oil, and coffee beans to specialty crafts, these exotic products not only broaden our horizons but also allow us to experience the rich and colorful trade between China and Portugal.

2、 Special invitation after the visit of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute

After visiting the Institute, the leaders of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute warmly invited us to attend a special meeting. The meeting was very informative. Firstly, President Jorge Valente introduced to the students the relationship between China and Portuguese speaking countries in terms of import and export trade, as well as the future development direction and scale of development. The President's insightful presentation made us look forward to the future of China-Portuguese trade.

Subsequently, we also welcomed Mr. Eddie de Assis, CEO of Guangzhou ThaiLai Brand Management Co., Ltd. He gave us a detailed introduction to the typical culinary culture of Portuguese speaking countries, which gave us a deep understanding of the differences between the culinary culture of Portuguese speaking countries and China and Mr. Eddie de Assis enthusiastically expressed his hope to introduce more cuisine from Portuguese speaking countries to China in the future, so that more people can taste these delicacies.

Mr. Danny Chau - President of the Board of Director, Sino-Luso Industry and Culture Exchange Promotion Association (Macau), also introduced to us cases of technological and industrial cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking countries through Macao, as well as some opportunities and challenges. At the same time, Mr. Eddie Leung - Member of the Board of Directors, Sino-Luso Industry and Culture Exchange Promotion Association (Macau), introduced to us how architectural design practitioners can show their talents and start their careers in the integration and exchange of Chinese and Portuguese culture in Macao, and also provided us with some references and reflections for our future studies, interests, and career development.

3、 Activity Summary

This visit to the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute not only gave us a deeper understanding of the current development status and prospects of Sino-Portugal trade but also gave us a more intuitive understanding of the culture and customs of Portuguese speaking countries through visiting the Institute and communicating with professionals. At the same time, we also feel the infinite charm brought by the combination of academia and practice. We believed that this event was an unforgettable experience for every participating student.

 4、 Special thanks
