Field Visit of MBA Students to Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre

Macao, December 1, 2023 - A group of MBA students from the course Topics on Emerging Developing Countries course visited the Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre. The activity commenced with a warm welcome from Mr. Stanley Ngai, Deputy CEO of the Centre. Mr. Ngai provided an introduction to the Center, highlighting its history, significance, and the services it offers.

 

During the visit, Dr. Max Chang, an enterprising businessman and founder of Macao Sportsloving Research and Development and Trading Limited Company, along with Cutting-edge Exosome Biomedical R&D Limited Company, delivered an overview of his companies, as well as how to enter the market of Japan and African Countires. Also, local young entrepreneur Ms. Crystal Kwok, founder of Macao's Funny Eye Brewery, shared her personal experiences and insights into the challenges faced by startups in Macau. Ms. Kwok engaged the students with her discussion on the hurdles she encountered and the strategies she employed to overcome them. She also emphasized the potential for future expansion into mainland China, sparking discussions on the business prospects that lie ahead. Each presentation was followed by lively discussions and interactive sessions, where the students engaged in insightful conversations with the speakers. The exchange of ideas and perspectives further enhanced their understanding of the complexities and opportunities prevalent in emerging countries and markets.
