Mr. Paulo Cheong, Vice President of Human Resources of Sands China, was invited as the guest speaker by instructor Michael Lam at City University of Macau to introduce the latest information on Human Resources to the students of the Faculty of Business, bringing them additional benefits in their study of the Principles to Management.

Introduce to students, as the largest local employer in Macau, how Sands China manage its Human Resources in a practical way, what are the talent diversity, development and planning practices. Allow students to follow the current situation and understand the direction of Human Resources development in such a large enterprise, and at the same time, bring practical guidance to students in their future career planning.

Through the guest speaker’s sharing, the students not only had an eye-opening experience on the scale of the company's employees, but also learned how the company can maintain its competitiveness through different measures of attracting, retaining, cultivating and developing talents from the practical perspective of Human Resources management. The students also learned the scale of development and diversified business of the company through photos and videos. Through the exchange with the guests, students also learned the recruitment criteria of the company and realized the importance of combining the future career planning with interests and economic environments.
