On December 26-27, 2018. a six-member delegation including FOB professors Lou Shiyan, Chen Weien and Lin Deqin, and PhD students Geng Chuan, He Jinjun and Xiangling were invited to participate in the Outstanding Young Scholars Forum - Management and Economics Region Forum organized by Guilin University of Electronic Technology.

The forum invited renowned experts and scholars from home and abroad to deliver special reports, including Professor Cheng Hyong-hyun, a famous scholar of Chungnam National University, Professor Cheng Ping, a Doctoral Supervisor of Chongqing University of Technology, and Professor Yuan Shengjun, Dean of the Business School of Guilin University of Electronic Technology. The forum reports covered many current academic frontiers, such as "Science and Technology and Business Management", "Integration and Re-engineering of Big Data and Accounting, Auditing," "New Era, New Retailing", and others.
