Professor Wang Zhongming, head of AMBA Certification China and a liberal arts academician from Zhejiang University, visited the Faculty of Business, City University of Macau. In the morning, an AMBA accreditation meeting was held in Room T320. Vice-Rector Kong Fanqing, Registrar Prof. Li Shuying, Dr. Eva Khong, Prof. Fong Kwong Yee, Prof. Priscilla Roberts, Dr. Lou Shiyan and all FOB academic and administrative staff members attended this meeting.

On behalf of the FOB, Vice-Rector Kong Fanqing gave a warm welcome to Professor Wang Chongming. Registrar Li Shuying introduced the development and mission of City University of Macau, and Dr. Eva Khong then described the FOB’s programs and goals. Professor Wang Chongming made some suggestions on the FOB’s forthcoming application for AMBA accreditation and encouraged the FOB to develop education in entrepreneurial innovation, in order to improve its capabilities in talent development, and to boost international education.

Vice-Rector Kong Fanqing responded that Professor Wang Chongming had made in-depth recommendations. Building on these, the FOB would undertake revisions in its syllabus in preparation for the AMBA accreditation.

After the meeting, Professor Wang Chongming visited the FOB’s teaching and research facilities. In the afternoon, Professor Wang Chongming had a meeting with Rector Zhang Shuguang. Rector Zhang Shuguang welcomed him cordially and thanked him for his guidance to the FOB on AMBA accreditation. They discussed education in entrepreneurial innovation as a means of strengthening the best features of FOB programs.
