Professor John Horton Conway, Emeritus Professor of Princeton University, was invited by Professor Deng Ding, Department Head of Mathematic, University of Macau, to visit the University on19^th April.

Professor Conway was warmly welcomed by academic members and students of the Department of Mathematics.  Professor Priscilla Roberts, Program Coordinator of the International Business Cohort, City University of Macau, chaired the session.  Professor Conway shared highlights of his teaching life at Princeton University, and gave insights into some of his wealth of knowledge in mathematics, notably the Game of Life and the Free Will Theorem.  A Q & A session followed, which allowed in-depth discussion of topics he had raised.
