Faculty of Business English Club held a learning session on “British Culture in the World” at L208 on Oct 26th afternoon. This was the first activity of English Club launched this semester. Participants enjoyed the session thoroughly.
Mr. Pedro Paulo dos Santos, Lecturer of English Club, introduced the history of the British Empire and the British culture’s influence in the world nowadays. He also explained the origins of the English language, British cuisine, culture of English speaking countries and landmarks in the UK to students.
The students participated in the interaction session and raised questions followed by serious discussion. They were arranged to discuss in groups and thus sharing information about English-speaking countries.
There will be a series of activities organized by FOB in November and December consecutively. All students are welcomed to join us. Please find more details in Faculty of Business website.
