As students of the Bachelor of Applied Economics Program are approaching to their final phase of study, the Faculty of Business conducted a briefing session for Year 3 students on the different specializations of the program recently.
The briefing session was held on 3rd March at L306, Luso-Chinese Building with the presence of Dr. Eva Khong, Executive Associate Dean of Faculty of Business. Dr. Khong encouraged students who would be graduating as the first batch of BAE program to give a serious thought on their future perspectives. This would set as benchmarks for the junior students and will lead them to become professionals in the economic and globalized business context. During the session, Dr. Lou Shiyan, Associate Professor and Coordinator of BAE Program; Dr. Lin Deqin, Senior Lecturer; and Dr. Kris Li, Senior Lecturer, introduced the content area of the three specializations, namely the Urban Economics, Cultural Economics and Creative Economics. In addition, they also shared their own experience and valuable insights with the students.
Before the closing of the session, Dr. Khong remarked that students' professional development and personal growth remained a great concern of the Faculty. She extended an appreciation to all fellow colleagues for their kind concern and consistent consideration towards students. She wished all students could enroll in their chosen major as desired.
