Recently, Mr. LEONG CHON IN, a doctoral candidate in the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau and General Manager of Wing Best Cleaning company Limited and JADE PALACE Property Management Service CO., LTD., delivered a speech titled "From University to Society: Building Sustainable Enterprises with CityU Wisdom and the Rotary Spirit" to students of the Faculty of Business. He shared his practical experience and insights across diverse fields, offering valuable career advice to CityU students.

With years of expertise in the cleaning and property management industries, Mr. Liang’s enterprises have been recognized for their outstanding social responsibility practices. During the lecture, he introduced the core formula for a sustainable enterprise: "Sustainability = Wisdom + Spirit + Practice," likening the academic foundation of City University of Macau to the "brain" and "blueprint" of an enterprise. He emphasized that the systematic thinking, strategic planning skills, and innovative methodologies acquired during his MBA and doctoral studies have been instrumental in making key decisions for his businesses, such as forward integration and market expansion.

Mr. Liang integrates the spirit of "Service Above Self" into corporate culture, regarding it as the "heart" and soul of an enterprise. He shared practical cases of his companies promoting employment for persons with disabilities and implementing humanized management, illustrating a management philosophy that emphasizes caring for employees to achieve long-term organizational development. He advised management students to cultivate cross-disciplinary capabilities, build value-driven careers, and strive for balanced development in IQ, EQ, and AQ.

By combining theory with practice, this lecture showcased how Macau entrepreneurs balance social responsibility and business development. It also reflected City University of Macau’s educational philosophy of "emphasizing both theory and practice," providing a valuable reference for young entrepreneurs and managers.
