Funded by the Macau Foundation, the academic exchange delegation organized by the Faculty of Business at the City University of Macau was successfully held in Singapore from June 22 to 26, 2025. This delegation, consisting of 14 faculty members and students, focused on sustainable development, technological innovation, and cutting-edge business education. They visited local top universities, enterprises, and cultural landmarks to deepen their international perspectives and explore cooperation opportunities.

Upon arriving in Singapore on the first day, the delegation immediately began a packed itinerary. The following day, faculty and students visited the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at Singapore Management University (SMU) to experience its innovative business education model and discuss trends in academic publishing with Springer. Subsequently, the team explored the City Gallery and cultural landmarks, gaining insights into urban development and multicultural integration.

On June 24, the team visited Marina Bay Sands to learn about corporate sustainable development practices. They were warmly welcomed by corporate representative Ms. Meridith Beaujean and her team, who guided them through the staff logistics area, the Art Science Museum, and the convention center. This experience allowed them to appreciate green building design concepts and the high standards Singapore imposes on sustainable development. In the afternoon, they visited the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), where Professor Joyce Wang Linghua, Head of the Executive Master of Business Administration program at the School of Business, introduced the business curriculum, and Dr. Yeo Lay, Dean of the Student Success Centre, shared support initiatives for students' academic, career, and personal development. Professor Amy Wong, Vice Dean of the School of Business at SUSS, engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty from the Faculty of Business, exploring future collaboration directions and aiming to establish a close strategic partnership.

The next day, faculty and students visited the Nanyang Business School at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) to discuss executive programs and student exchange plans, while also touring sustainable campus buildings and the Edible Garden City to experience innovative applications of sustainable agriculture. The integration of technology and ecology at Gardens by the Bay provided rich inspiration for the delegation.

On the final day, the team visited the Alibaba-NTU Singapore Joint Research Institute to gain insights into the collaborative achievements in artificial intelligence, big data, and sustainable technology. The Institute's head introduced several innovative projects, including smart cities and big data AI solutions focused on health and aging, allowing faculty and students to witness how technology drives business and environmental sustainability. They actively engaged with questions, exploring the potential applications of these technologies in Macau and the Greater Bay Area, sparking innovative thoughts about future business models. Faculty members expressed that this trip inspired them and students to transform their learning into driving forces for the development of the institution, laying the foundation for future international cooperation.

The Faculty of Business at City University of Macau will continue to promote international exchanges among faculty and students, facilitating deep integration between academia and industry, and embodying the spirit of "taking root in Macau, facing the world" to open new chapters in business education.
