In this competition, participating teams were required to prepare a written research report on the target company, Shenzhou International Group Holdings Limited. The event involved 13 universities from Hong Kong and Macao, with dozens of teams participating. After preliminary rounds, five teams advanced to the finals. The finals were held at HKU iCube on February 15, 2025, where the champions, runners-up, and third-place winners of the Hong Kong local division were announced.

The team members from the Faculty of Business, including Bowen Yang and Zhang Shurui from the IBC Programme, Wu Jiayu from the BBA Programme, Peiyang Li from the Bachelor of Intelligent Technology and Services Programme at the Faculty of Data Science, and Zitang Wang from the Bachelor of Applied Economics Programme at the Faculty of Finance, wrote the report under the guidance of Associate Professor Tiffany Leung, Senior Lecturer Cathy Cheong, Assistant Professor Bangxing Yu, and CFA official mentor Amy Kwok.

The interdisciplinary team, Team B from the City University of Macau, feels honored to represent the university in this CFA competition. The team members extend their heartfelt thanks to Mentor Amy Kwok, Senior Lecturer Cathy Cheong, and Associate Professor Tiffany Leung for their hard work. Although Mentor Kwok is a CFA matching instructor, she consistently provided full support and trust in the team, especially during the construction of valuation models and market analysis, guiding them through many critical details. Associate Professor Leung and Senior Lecturer Cheong offered important guidance in financial analysis and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects. The team appreciates the valuable learning opportunities provided by the university, which allowed them to gain significant insights from this competition and further enhance their professional skills and practical experience.
