IBC Students Attend HKMU Greater Bay Area Exchange Camp: A Transformative Experience in Learning and Networking

The IBC students from the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau, led by Associate Professor Farzad Sabetzadeh, Assistant Professor Yitian Lu and Assistant Professor Liujian Huang, had the opportunity to attend the HKMU Greater Bay Area Exchange Camp in Shenzhen over the weekends of January 4th-5th and January 11th-12th, 2025. This camp was a remarkable experience for the students, allowing them to engage in meaningful sharing sessions with their peers from various universities in the Greater Bay Area. These sessions were highly interactive, enabling students to exchange ideas, share their academic and personal experiences, and gain new perspectives on business and economics. Meanwhile, the teachers from the Faculty of Business, as guest speakers, share insights and the progress of academic research with students on the opportunities and challenges of the Greater Bay Area.

 

In addition to the peer interactions, the students attended a series of lectures delivered by esteemed professors from the region. These lectures covered a wide range of topics relevant to their studies, providing deep insights and enhancing their understanding of the current business landscape. The professors' expertise and engaging teaching methods were highly appreciated by the students, who found the lectures both informative and inspiring.

 

The camp also provided excellent networking opportunities, allowing students to build valuable connections with fellow participants and professors. These interactions are expected to have a lasting impact on their academic and professional journeys, offering support and collaboration opportunities in the future. Overall, the HKMU Greater Bay Area Exchange Camp with the City University of Macau was a resounding success, enriching the student's learning experience, broadening their horizons, and fostering community and collaboration among the participants.
