The FOB Invites Senior Lecturer Minoru Tamura to Hold a Career Design Lecture

On 2nd September, the Faculty of Business was honored to invite Senior Lecturer Minoru Tamura from Tokushima Bunri University, Japan to hold a lecture on the theme of “Career Design for University Students” for the Year 1 Bachelor of Business Administration student.

 

In the lecture, Senior Lecturer Tamura introduced the significance of career design and shared his personal experiences to help students gain a deeper understanding of this topic. He pointed out that career design is an important and complex process that involves multiple aspects, emphasizing that university students should effectively plan their career paths.

 

Dr. Tamura elaborated on several key steps, including self-assessment, identifying interests and hobbies, understanding appealing career fields, evaluating personal skills, and clarifying important career characteristics. He encouraged students to maintain a mindset of continuous learning during internships or jobs, regularly seek feedback, and engage in self-reflection and adjustment to better formulate their career plans.

 

This lecture not only allowed students at the Faculty of Business to plan their career paths more systematically but also helped them enhance their employability and achieve personal career goals. Students expressed enthusiastic responses to the lecture's content and thanked Senior Lecturer Tamura for his insightful presentation.
