On 20 May 2024, the Faculty of Business (FOB) of the City University of Macau had the honor of hosting Professor Flávio Carvalho de Vasconcelos, Dean of Brazilian Public and Business Administration School at Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV-EBAPE). Professor Vasconcelos was warmly welcomed by Dean José Alves and Associate Dean Paulo Esperança.

The visit was aimed at promoting global academic collaboration and exchange, with a particular focus on exploring potential partnerships and knowledge sharing between both institutions. During his visit, Professor Vasconcelos engaged in a series of discussions with the FOB faculty members. The main goal was to introduce FGV-EBAPE and explore potential collaborative opportunities in research, faculty and student exchange programmes, and other academic initiatives. The fruitful discussion was followed by a business lunch, providing an opportunity to continue the exchange of ideas in a more relaxed setting. This visit laid the groundwork for potential collaborations that could enhance the academic and research landscape at both institutions.
