In an effort to strengthen international ties and foster collaborative opportunities in education and research, a delegation from ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon visited City University of Macau recently. The delegation included Professor Maria das Dores Guerreiro, Vice Rector for Internationalization; Professor Jorge Costa, Vice Rector for Information and Quality Systems; and Professor Luís Ducla Soares, Department of Sciences and Information Technologies.

The delegation was warmly received by Chair Professor Lixian Jin, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor José Alves, Dean of Faculty of Business; and Professor José Paulo Esperança, Associate Dean of Faculty of Business.

During the visit, both institutions engaged in fruitful discussions and expressed keen interest and their commitment to further exploring the collaborative opportunities such as joint research projects, faculty and student exchanges, and various academic initiatives.

With a shared vision for excellence in education and research, these collaborations will have the potential to open new avenues for knowledge creation and academic advancement.
