On 5 October, under the leadership of Assistant Prof. Tiffany C. H. Leung and Assistant Prof. Limeng Yu, all the MBA Class H students visited the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort. Under the guidance of the staff, our students got to know the distribution and characteristics of the hotel, and had a deeper understanding of Macau's tourism and hotel industry.
The staff first introduced the general situation of the Macau Resort. There are in total 1,350 rooms and suites in the resort's flagship hotel tower incorporate Chinese and Western art in their contemporary design, with furniture and art pieces created in a unique mix of natural wood, porcelain, lacquer and brass while the artworks inside depict Macau's past and present.
Later, our students visited two other hotel buildings: Versace and Karl Lagerfeld Macau. Hotel Versace Macau turns the brand style of Versace into a taste of life, creating a luxury hotel with the theme of Versace Asia. The creativity and style of Donatella Versace are reflected in every room. Karl Lagerfeld is the late designer Karl Lagerfeld personally responsible for the interior design of the hotel building, a total of 271 rooms and suites, brimming with the original design of Karl Lagerfeld.
In addition, students also experienced the VR of the virtual Palace of Versailles, and felt the field appearance of the Palace of Versailles through the dual experience of the handle and visual effect.
In a word, students not only mastered more knowledge and application of Macau hotel industry, but also strengthened the sense of personal participation and cohesion in team activities!
