Congratulations to Cai Feilong, a student from the Faculty of Business and a talented local martial art athlete, for winning a silver medal in the men's 75-kiloaram sanda finals at the Asian Games 2023.

During the 75kg Sanda competition at the Asian Games, Cai displayed fierce competition against elite athletes representing various countries and regions. Through a series of eliminations, he advanced to the finals. Having previously faced his final opponent in past competitions, Cai entered the match with determination. However, in the early stages, he was forcefully knocked out of the ring. Despite his efforts to regain the advantage through proactive attacks, he was repeatedly brought down by his opponent, ultimately resulting in a loss by WPD decision. Nevertheless, Cai’s remarkable performance has earned Macao its first silver medal in this edition of the competition.

Cai’s unwavering determination and resilient sportsmanship serve as an inspiration to the CityU community. We extend our heartfelt wishes for his continued success in future competitions and the attainment of even greater accomplishments.
