On 6 December 2022, 35 students from FOB of City University of Macau, led by BBA Coordinator, Assistant Prof. Tiffany C. H. Leung and Associate Dean, Associate Prof. Tian Yi Hui, visited to the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort. During the company visit, the students toured the guest rooms, the logistics room, the Jardim Secreto and the artwork lobby of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort and gained a deeper understanding of the corporate culture and guest facilities of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort.

The company visit began with an introduction to the overall complex of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort. Students were given the opportunity to learn the story behind the hotel through an introduction to the guest rooms, the art collection and how the company sustainable development practices. This was followed by a guided tour of the different types of rooms, various exhibits and background stories. Finally, the tour went into the heart of the hotel - the core machine room - for a vivid and visual field presentation. The guided tour ended with a tour and group photo in the Jardim Secreto, and the enterprise visit came to a successful conclusion.

The company visit not only broadened students' horizons, but also proved that class teaching should not be confined to the classroom. At the same time, the event deepened students' understanding of local company operations, hospitality culture, and the corporate sustainability practice. The event has far-reaching implications for FOB students' own development and future career planning.
