Supported by the Ministry of Education, the “Nanjing-Hong Kong-Macao Young Teacher-Student Academic and Cultural Exchange Camp” initiated under the “10,000 Talents Programme” was held in Nanjing a few days ago. Assistant Professor Chen Wei-Nien led the graduate students to participate in this activity. The event was jointly sponsored by Hohai University (HHU), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, City University of Macau (CityU), and Macau University of Science and Technology, and hosted by the Faculty of Business of HHU.
At the opening ceremony, Prof. CHEN introduced the development and achievement of FOB. During the parallel exchange forum, he gave a speech on the topic of “Management and Communication under the Diverse Personnel”. The teachers and students of CityU and HHU conducted academic exchanges on multiple topics during the sessions.
The teachers and students also visited the History Museum of HHU, Zhang Wentian Memorial Hall, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, etc., to gain an in-depth understanding of the development and history of HHU, learn the splendid culture of Chinese civilization, and enhance the students’ cultural confidence. They also visited and inspected the local representative enterprise in Nanjing - Yinkun Group and learnt from multiple dimensions of urban development.
This activity helped enhance the academic and cultural exchange among Nanjing, Hong Kong, and Macao. Through this exchange, it will lay a good foundation for the future cooperation and development of the universities in Nanjing, Hong Kong and Macao, and establish a broader development space.
