FOB Professors and Students Attended a Seminar Held at the Bank of China Building

Macau Association for Chinese Ecological Development and Promotion organized a seminar on "The Challenges and Opportunities of Macau with a Larger Sea Territory" at the Bank of China Building on 29th October. Students of Faculty of Business were invited to attend the said seminar. Mr. Fong Kwong Yee, Associate Professor, BBA Programme Coordinator of FOB and Dr. Wu Zefu, Associate Professor, led a group of students from International Business Cohort and Master Degree Programme to attend the seminar.

 

The guest speaker, Dr. Wong Tsan Kwong, an Oceaneering expert, presented the perspectives of Macau city development. Students obtained new knowledge in the aspects of future expansion of Macao city, the opportunities  and challenges of extending territorial waters, new permeable ocean platform and deployment and in addition, the blueprint on Macao ocean development. Students enjoyed the seminar and expressed interest on the issues presented by Dr. Wong in regard to the ways and means to overcome the challenges confronted by the establishment of ocean platform.

 

After the seminar, Mr. Ip Sio Kai, Director of Macau Association for Chinese Ecological Development and Promotion, Deputy General Manager of Bank of China (Macao Branch) met with FOB professors and students and a discussion was held with Programme Coordinator Mr. Fong Kwong Yee for further collaboration between Bank of China and Faculty of Business.
