On the afternoon of 22 September 2026, Associate Dean Yihui Tian of the Faculty of Business (FOB) at City University of Macau, together with Director Peixin Zuo of the Case Centre and faculty members Bowen Dong, Danni Ma, Limeng Yu, Yafan Yu, Yaqi Zheng and Tingyu Luo, led 210 first- and second-year MBA students on a visit to the By-Health Transparent Factory to gain first-hand insight into the production and management practices of the nutrition and health industry. Mr. Gang Jiang, General Manager, and Ms. Yanjun Liu, Manager, of By-Health arranged a thoughtful itinerary and warmly received the delegation, during which further discussions were held with FOB faculty on industry-academia-research collaboration.

The By-Health Transparent Factory is a publicly accessible production base for dietary nutritional supplements, recognised as one of the world's most advanced facilities with stringent quality control. Through raw material traceability, intelligent manufacturing, and quality inspection processes, the factory demonstrates how products are managed from raw materials to finished goods, allowing visitors to intuitively understand how the company ensures product quality.

Led by Manager Liu and the docents, faculty and students toured the Transparent Factory, the Nutrition Centre, and related facilities to observe their operations. Students walked through the transparent factory, closely observing fully automated production lines and rigorous quality control procedures, experiencing first-hand the operational details of standardized management in modern industry. They then visited the Nutrition Hall, where they gained professional knowledge of nutrition through rich exhibitions and interactive science displays, deepening their understanding of how the health industry translates scientific research into product development. Finally, General Manager Jiang Gang delivered a keynote sharing session on the current development of the industry in which By-Health operates, the company's future goals, and talent development, helping students extend their thinking from the production floor to industry and corporate development.

This visit provided MBA students with an opportunity to step outside the classroom and observe corporate practice. Through on-site visits and keynote sharing, students gained a deeper understanding of the nutrition and health industry, as well as the issues of corporate production management and talent development. At the same time, students keenly appreciated the importance of integrating classroom theory with real-world business practice—a key factor in achieving long-term corporate development. Participants noted that the visit offered a valuable practical platform, helping them better understand the actual operation of corporate strategic management and providing important reference value for their future career development and practical experience.
