Student Message - Experience in Business Competition
Q: As the team leader in the “Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao Enterprise Business Case Analysis Competition 2025,” what was the biggest challenge you faced?
A: The competition coincided with final review week, and time was extremely tight. As the team leader, I always prioritized team cohesion and created a collaborative atmosphere through active communication. My teammates were also very engaged; together, we repeatedly polished the details of our work and tackled various challenges in preparation for the competition.
Q: What unexpected situation did your team face on the eve of the finals, and how did you respond?
A: On the eve of the finals, we faced an unexpected situation where a core team member was unable to attend. After communication, we quickly reassigned tasks, and team members took the initiative to fill in and support each other, ultimately overcoming this crisis together. This experience deeply impressed upon me that excellent teams not only share success, but also build solid bonds of trust in times of uncertainty.
Q: How did this competition impact your business perspective?
A: Standing at the final venue, we competed with outstanding students from all over the country on the same stage. The innovative thinking and professional competence demonstrated by each university team, as well as the profound viewpoints and forward-looking questions raised by the judges, greatly expanded my business perspective. This made me realize that excellent business solutions not only require rigorous logic but also resilience and foresight to deal with the complexity of reality.
Q: Apart from professional skills, what other growth did this experience bring you?
A: This experience has not only enhanced my professional skills but also instilled in me a growth mindset of maintaining composure under pressure and achieving success in collaboration with others. I am grateful for the excellent platform provided by the university and the full guidance of my supervisors. This precious experience will continue to inspire me to unite the team with a service-oriented heart and face challenges with a global perspective on my future academic and career paths.
