City University of Macau's Faculty of Business Successfully Hosts Dongguan Talent Policy Promotion Session and Seminar to Enhance Talent Development and Collaborative Exchange

To enhance talent exchange and educational cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, the Faculty of Business at the City University of Macau co-organized the "Dongguan Talent Policy Promotion Session" on December 5. The event centered on Dongguan's latest talent policies and the "Hundred Universities, Thousand Talents" Internship Program, drawing significant participation from students. During the session, detailed explanations were provided on Dongguan’s updated talent classification and certification standards, as well as specific procedures for internship applications, subsidy claims, and startup support. A dedicated segment also offered policy insights for young individuals from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, providing clear guidance for Macau’s youth to integrate into the development of the Greater Bay Area. The event featured on-site consultations and a Q&A session, where students actively engaged and demonstrated strong interest in the opportunities available in Dongguan.

 

On the same day, the Faculty of Business at the City University of Macau and the Graduate School of Dongguan University of Technology jointly hosted a seminar on campus. The discussion focused on talent cultivation in higher education, academic exchanges, and inter-institutional cooperation within the framework of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. Attendees included Associate Dean Yihui Tian of the Faculty of Business at the City University of Macau, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch and Vice Dean, Wenbo Liao of the Graduate School at Dongguan University of Technology, as well as relevant leaders from the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee Talent Office. Both sides introduced their respective educational features and expressed their willingness to deepen cooperation in student exchanges and faculty research collaboration, while also being confident in establishing a solid collaborative model through complementary advantages in the future.

 

In the future, the two institutions will continue to explore further opportunities for cooperation, aiming to strengthen academic and industrial ties and jointly promote talent development.
