FOB first-year DBA students Visit the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform

On 2nd May 2024, Assistant Professors Tiffany Leung and Jing Zhao led first-year DBA students from FOB on a tour of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform. This event provided students with a close-up experience of the unique charm of Portuguese-speaking countries and the broad prospects for economic and trade exports in Macao.

 

At the exhibition, students had the opportunity to witness a diverse range of products and services, including exquisite Portuguese wines, Brazilian coffee beans, Angolan gemstones, and products exported from Macao. The showcased items vividly demonstrated the diversity and vitality of the collaboration between Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.

 

Representatives from the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the business community in Zhuhai introduced the current status of economic and trade cooperation between Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries in detail. Students actively engaged with the representatives, raising their own questions and sharing their insights. They expressed great satisfaction with the event, highlighting the valuable knowledge they gained and their confidence in the future prospects of cooperation between Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries.

 

This visit not only enriched the students' professional knowledge but also deepened their understanding of economic and trade cooperation between Macao and Portuguese-speaking countries. Furthermore, it provided valuable insights and inspiration for their future research and career development.
