The FOB’s undergraduate final year students from the International Business Cohort (IBC) delivered their business proposals based on emerging technologies for business to judges from academia and industry.

Assistant Prof. Farzad Sabetzadeh, the course instructor, sat as the academic judge, with Mr. Andrew Pearson next to him as a high-tech industry advisor. Ms. Victoria White, from the UK, who is an expert in legal issues for emerging technologies, also joined the panel remotely via videoconferencing.

This event was a unique experience of running presentations in hybrid mode (simultaneously offline and online), so that the students could receive feedback from experts both onsite and on the web at the same time.

With many pandemic measures introduced worldwide, the hybrid classroom has opened the door to provide the same quality feedback to our FOB students from both global and local experts.
