Course Description

This course is part of the final-year program in BBA. The student conducts research on either an assigned- or a self-chosen subject in the field of business administration. The student participates in the research group by carrying out research, and writing a research report in relation to business administration. This course begins with how to generate a practical research topic and reviews the research methodology the students have learned and shares the reports completed by the groups.

The course focus on training up students of how to write up a research report for academic and business users.




Course Learning Outcomes(CLOs) 

Upon completion of this unit, students will be able to: 

CILO1. Generate a practical research topic.

CILO2. Comply with the format required by business-administration degree programs.

CILO3. Apply referencing index in a research report.

CILO4. Write up a research report for communication with either academia or practitioner users in business administration.

CILO5. Identify and discuss the ethical issues in research

CILO6. Develop their critical thinking, problem solving and presentation skills by applying their knowledge in case analysis and by participating in discussions during lectures and group meetings.
