On March 14, 2018, the FOB hosted the "Wang Zhongming Distinguished Professor Award Ceremony and Lecture: Entrepreneurial Competence and Action Learning" Guests attending the ceremony included Professor Zhang Shuguang, Rector of the City University of Macau; Pro-Rector Professor IP Kuai Peng; Professor Khong Yuen Wah, the Executive Associate Dean of FOB; and Associate Professor Zhou Ping, Director of the Macao “One Belt, One Road” Research Center.

The Faculty of Business invited Professor Wang Zhongming, head of AMBA Certification China and a liberal arts academician from Zhejiang University, to become a Distinguished Professor of the Faculty of Business at City University of Macau and give a seminar on "Entrepreneurial Competence and Action Learning". Professor Wang Zhongming was warmly welcomed by Rector Zhang Shuguang and   Professor Khong Yuen Wah. Rector Zhang Shuguang presented him with a certificate and souvenir. Professor Khong highlighted Professor Wang Zhongming’s outstanding qualifications and research accomplishments. Professor Wang Zhongming is the Former Executive Vice President of the School of Management of Zhejiang University, a member of the Discipline Evaluation Committee of the State Council Academic Degree Committee, a Zhejiang special-level expert, and the Chairman of the International Silk Road Entrepreneurship Education Alliance. He is also head of AMBA Certification China. In addition, he serves as a Visiting Professor at many famous Management Schools at home and abroad. Mainly engaged in human resources management, entrepreneurial management and organizational behavior research, Professor Wang Zhongming is enthusiastic about all aspects of university administration, teaching, research, and outstanding achievements . Now Professor Wang Zhongming has become a Distinguished Professor of the Faculty of Business, greatly adding to the glory of the City University of Macau. We are honoured to welcome him.

Subsequently, Professor Wang Zhongming discussed the interrelationship between entrepreneurial ability and action learning on the theme of “Entrepreneurial Competence and Action Learning”. Compare the similarities and differences of various entrepreneurial models and management methods. Professor Wang Zhongming encouraged students to think broadly and not to have limitations. They must constantly strengthen their own abilities and continuous action learning, and enhance their international perspective and innovation drive. The lectures improved the students’ understanding of entrepreneurial ability building.
