On April 29, the FOB invited Mr. Ivan Kuan, a Consultant in the Development of the Holistic View of the Digital Economy, to share his insights on green innovative materials and intellectual property rights with the third year students of BBA. Assistant Professor Tiffany Cheng Han Leung led the students to participate in this activity in the Business Ethics class of Class H. Mr. Kwan used the commercial application model of green innovative materials in modern facility agriculture factory constructions as an example to showcase a real-life case.

Through innovative technological means, this new material recycles mining waste and industrial residue, turning waste into treasure. The material features properties that reduce heat exchange inside and outside the building structure, providing excellent insulation and moisture retention under low energy consumption conditions, thereby solving the general problem of high construction and energy costs in facility agricultural factories.

Mr. Kuan also introduced the business model for this innovative material, which transforms innovative technology into agricultural fixed assets and yields economic benefits. T Through case sharing, students gained a deeper understanding of cutting-edge innovations in the agricultural field and the concept of technology commercialization. These examples not only enriched their business knowledge but also inspired their thinking on environmental protection and sustainable development.

In addition, Mr. Kuan explained the intellectual property disputes of the world-renowned car brand - Tesla, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of intellectual property rights.

The students were highly interested in this lecture and expressed sincere gratitude for Mr. Kuan's insights. This lecture not only enriched their knowledge but also stimulated their thinking on business ethics and sustainable development. The FOB will continue its commitment to providing such learning opportunities to help students grow and develop in the field of business.
